Random Picture Time

So it's been a while since I've posted anything... and unfortunately I don't have much to report. Sooooooo... today's post is just going to a collection of random pictures that I felt like sharing with the digital world. Enjoy!

My "baby" brother's "mini-me", Brandon. It's so scary how much he looks like my brother when he was that age.

The Baltimorons...as we CNYers affectionately refer to them! They're not really morons, in fact, the three of them are extremelly bright... in fact, almost too smart, little shits!

Queen Baltimoron... She's the world's best colorer. I swear I've never seen a 6-yr old use crayons as beautifully as she does. She gets it from her Mom, Martha Stewart.

Ah yes, and this little guy, the White LeBron James. Yes Cameron, Cleveland does rock.

And it wouldn't be a post without a picture of the "baby." He has a very rough life, can you tell??

So that's all for now. Only 3 more weeks until the new niece or nephew is due... and then it's finally our turn! Tick-tock, time is running out on the bun in the oven.

On my way to work today....

I saw this little sly guy....

He wasn't the typical fox either. Instead of darting away from me, he sat there and stared me down, which worked out well for me because I had time to grab the camera phone and snag his picture.

Oh the adventures I get driving back country roads to work everyday! Much better than traffic jams, much better!

Goodbye 20s, Hello 30s!

It's official... 6/6/6 has come and gone, and so have my 20s. The D-day Bicentennial Baby has hit the big 3-0. It was much more uneventful that I had always expected. Don't get me wrong, it was a perfect birthday... I played hooky from work, spent the day hanging out with Mom at the local day spa, had an incredible lasagna dinner (courtesy of my wonderful husband), and topped it off with a big hunk of ice cream cake... but the reality is, it came it went just about like every other birthday. There was no brimstone and fire (like one would expect on 6-6-6), there were no tears or wailing (like you'd expect from a hormonal pregnant woman who's leaving her 20s behind)... nothing. All those things that seemed so scary, turned out to be nothing at all.

It was just a nice relaxing day, that I spent with my family and enjoyed the beautiful weather. Well, it did end with a flaming case of heartburn, but what day hasn't ended like for the past 2-3 weeks? Thank you Baby.

I'd say "Leg Up!" but that would be quite dangerous for a woman in my condition... doh!

Projects update!!

Well, the bathroom is completely finished. It's actually been done for about 2 weeks now, I've just been dragging my butt on getting some pictures.

So here's a little photo tour of the new and improved bathroom (man, I wish I had the before pictures... you wouldn't believe the difference!)

Walking into the bathroom from the hallway....

In the bathroom, looking at the tub and shower shelf, and Brian's beautiful trim work around the window! (All of it is actually Brian's beautiful work... but I really wanted to highlight the wooden valance on the window!)

Ah, the new toilet and built in cabinet for toilet paper, cleaning products, etc.

Looking from the toilet, at the new vanity and mirror. Check out the cool new vaulted ceilings and exposed beams! Lovely, just lovely!

So with that project completed and out of the way... it was only fair that I get Brian going on building us a much needed closet space in our room! He does such good work, how could I not keep the guy busy, right???

Here's some progress photos (please don't mind the mess and clutter... )

The new closet is on the left, and then there's a built in linen cabinet on the right.

I'm so excited about all our new storage! It will be a nice change to have enough space for BOTH of us to hang up our clothes... and a place to store sheets and towels (b/c Rubbermaid containers stacked all over a room are so Un-Martha!!)

Thanks for stopping by!
